Vampires have the bad boy edge with the bite and brawn to back it up. Have not read this book yet but it has fangs so will go on my TBR pile.
I think that Vampires are sexy because of their immortality. You know that they have seen and heard it all over the years, and they have lots of experience with pleasing the ladies ;-)
Vampires immortality gives them time to gain experience over the years. Plus the edge of danger they represent.
I have not read a ton of vampire stories, but the ones that I have…well, I have liked a lot. I think that it has to do with the fact that they are so afraid that they will hurt the one that they love, but what they don’t realize is that they never would, and that their mate wants to be given everything they have. And of course, they have thousands of years to perfect their experience in the bedroom!!

I find them mysterious, dark and utterly sexy. Mine always have dark hair. And there is just something wicked about them…though i don’t like them that pale

I don’t know if I consider all vampires sexy. I take them individually. The ones I do find sexy are mysterious, mainly bad boys, and they have a certain look about them. Plus, all of them are dealing with their own personal demons. Have a great day.
I think they’re sexy because they are dangerous and extremely strong and most women want who’s big and strong and takes care of her.
Vampires are sexy to me because they usually are the rugged bad boy types who have youth on their side.

Vampires are sexy…well ever since I read Anne Rice’s interview of a vampire I have thought them incredibly sexy. I think it is the immortality, and having the chance to become the ultimate lover (pratice makes perfect right). Then there is always a measure of the unknown, mysterious, and usually they were a bad boy to begin with before becoming a vampire. Yummy!

This is a good question. Are vampires inherently sexy, or is there just so much lore around them that we think vampire=sexy. Who knows? Maybe they were dreamed up in days of yore for people to explain away hickies! LOL.
But, whatever the source, I think vamps have strength and grace, and that is a darn good start. Only come out at night–an extra layer of mystery. Some can read minds–mmm, ok, if they use the info to entice and delight

I think vampires are sexy because of the whole being immortal, dark, powerful and just a bit mysterious. Also they just have that certain sex appeal.
It’s all about the power and the longevity–plus if a vamp survives, he’s learned control, too. All kind of sexy in a man ;)
They are dark and mysterious and have lived so long in the night that they know some amazing things.
