First, come visit me at the Aphrodisia blog, where I’m giving away a copy of Take Me, the day before it releases!!

All month long I’m ‘Sharing the Love’ and giving away other people’s books. (I’ll mail out books once a week to the winners!) My friend Beth Kery is still celebrating the release of her newest book Sweet Restraint, which you need to check out! If you haven’t read her, you’re missing out. So today I’m giving away a book off her backlist, Daring Timel. IMPORTANT: PLEASE CHECK BACK TOMORROW TO SEE IF YOU WON, WINNERS ARE NOT EMAILED. I’LL PUT IT IN THIS POST’S COMMENTS SECTION!

He sees her, wants her, needs her—now he has to have her.

0425227960.01.LZZZZZZZChicago Detective Ryan Daire has many secrets: a love for Shakespeare, an appreciation for all the finer things in life, and an absolute lack of restraint in the bedroom. Now he has an even bigger secret. In every shadow of the sprawling mansion he’s recently inherited he can see her—tempting, ethereal, and untouchable. Hope Stillwater inhabited that mansion in 1906. Raw desire has formed a conduit between these two passionate souls who are separated by the barrier of time. Intoxicated by each other’s presence, Ryan and Hope come close to crossing that inviting boundary between two worlds. But there is danger: Ryan’s job has put him on the trail of a depraved criminal in an investigation that’s risking Hope’s eternal fate. Now he must do whatever it takes to change history, protect Hope from harm, and set his desires free.

To win Beth’s book, just leave a comment and answer this question: If you could time travel to any time, when would it be?

If you’re comment does not show up right away, don’t worry, it’s probably in the spam filter and I’ll pull it out before drawing a name!

And don’t forget to check out my Take Me Away contest here!

    Hi :)
Thanks for a great blog post.
If I could go to any time, I think I’d go to the future (date unspecified) because it fascinates me where we as a society and as a species are going. Look at the vast changes in just the last century. I wish I could see ahead a thousand years!

I think I would like to travel baack to the American West—-1850’s to early 1900’s.

  3. 3

I think that if I could time travel I would want to go to the future, just to get a glimpse of what I have to look forward too. Maybe 20 years into the future, to see what my kids are doing, what is going on with my family, etc.
    thanks!

I’d be curious to see the old West or ancient Asia, but only with a limited visit (wouldn’t want to get stuck without running water or modern medicine ;))

  5. 5

I’d like to travel back in time to the start of the Industrial age. Just think of seeing the inventing and building of all the technology we take for granted today!

  6. 6

If you could time travel to any time, when would it be?

I would time travel to ancient Greece or Rome. I love nearly everything about those two countries.

  7. 7

I would travel back to 1950’s America. Love the music and clothes.

  8. 8

I wouldn’t travel too far, just to the 80’s to be young again! Thanks for the chance at winning this great book :)

  9. 9

I would love to, briefly, visit Ancient Egypt.
It would be fascinating to see first-hand how incredibly advanced their civilization was.

  10. 10

I would want to go back to the Old West. I love the history and am horrified by what was done to Native Americans.

  11. 11

This is a hard one. The American West, Regency England, and even the Scotland and Ireland of yore all sound dreamy in peoples’ stories, but when I think about what it would have been like to live there, I am reminded of how grateful I am for hot showers and iced lattes! :-)

    Thanks for the contest!

That is easy. I would be in scotland during the Normans rule. I think it would be an interesting time period that many people truly don’t know about besides the wars. Were they really that vicious? I would love to see how things really were, but only though if I could come back. I don’t think I could last anywhere besides the now very long.

  29. 29

    Without a doubt, Ancient Rome.

    Hi Shelli,
Thanks for inviting us all to join in. If I could go back in time it would have to be to a ‘fun’ and unhibited summer I spent in Sydney Austraila. I can only image how things would have turned out if I knew then what I knew now. LOL.

    Nicole

  32. 32

If I could back in time I’d choose the mideval period I think. I’d love to see the knights and jousts and such :D.

Wow, great question! I would have to say about 1990, I seemed to have made a lot of mistakes that year and I would change just about everything!

  36. 36

My first thought was to travel to the past, to experience what life was like for my great-grandparents and earlier ancestors. Then I decided the most wonderful thing would be to travel 30 or 40 years into the future to witness all the amazing technological developments and to see what the next generations of my family are up to in that time.

  37. 37
