So have I mentioned my new goal? It’s to wear dresses more often. And I’ve been doing great! Three times in the last week. See I bought a few cute dresses for the RWA conference I’m attending in D.C. next month. And I realized what a waste it is to ONLY wear them to a conference.

So I’m wearing them. And, wow, do I feel so feminine and cute! I wore one out shopping. I wore one to my GSRWA meeting. And then out to dinner and a movie with a friend. Which, total topic change now! Oh, wow. My friend and I saw The hangover. Have you seen this? It’s CRAZY. Crazy fabulous. I can’t remember the last time I saw a movie this funny. Just don’t bring the kids! (Even if I have a friend who did and swears they were okay with it! LOL!)

Can you believe it’s June? I’m just amazed at how fast time is flying. It’s going to be the fourth of July in no time. Woo whoo! Random topic change again (yes I do that), but I just started thinking about D.C.  So excited!

I just wanted to encourage you to write your senators every now and then about issues you would like to address with America! I just piped up in regards to health care! That’s the great thing about our country, we can get involved.

So I watched the movie Australia. And I’ve gotta say….I didn’t much care for it. So if you did, my apologies. There was one scene, however, that I very much enjoyed. And that was getting to see Hugh Jackman’s ripped chest, wet and naked, while he somewhat showers. They even did this slow down and almost freeze thing. Totally catering to the women audience (and honestly I don’t know too many men who would watch this movie and not wanna jump off a cliff halfway through).

Anyway, here’s the scene. Though I’m sad to say they cut most of the close ups and freeze frame on the flexing muscles. Still, you get the gist of it.
