Come on by Naughty and Spice where Leah Braemel is guest blogging!

I remember back in the 80’s being a kid and the whole fitness craze went around. Remember this? Get in Shape Girl? I think I may have… bought a jump rope…not sure I  did. Or if I used it. I do however remember the theme song from the commercial. All these years later.

Anyway, back to the twenty-first century. I’m being uber healthy again. Like my goal is to lose 10lbs by the RWA National conference in D.C. in July. And I’ve been kicking butt. I’ve lost 3lbs in a week. I’m eating less, and being more active. And the food choices are healthier. More natural foods (not so processed). Instead of a 100 calories pack snack (which are good and I do love them!) I’ve been grabbing a bowl full of frozen blueberries.

I’ll keep you posted on how this fitness thing goes. But for now I’m off to do some writing! Have a great week!

These are some great books releasing in April from authors at the Bradford Agency!

Right now, I’m a redhead. I’ve been blonde and brunette as the situation requires, though an unscheduled color change usually means relocating in the middle of the night. So far, I’m doing well here. Nobody knows what I’m running from. And I’d like to keep it that way…

Eighteen months ago, Corine Solomon crossed the border to Mexico City, fleeing her past, her lover, and her “gift”. Corine, a handler, can touch something and know its history—and sometimes, its future. Using her ability, she can find the missing—and that’s why people never stop trying to find her. People like her ex, Chance…

Chance, whose uncanny luck has led him to her doorstep, needs her help. Someone dear to them both has gone missing in Laredo, Texas, and the only hope of finding her is through Corine’s gift. But their search may prove dangerous as the trail leads them into a strange dark world of demons and sorcerers, ghosts and witchcraft, zombies—and black magic… Buy here.

In a race against life and death, one woman holds the key to sanity and salvation…

After escaping from the Otherworld Crime Unit, Kellen Falcon came to Nouveau Monde to crack a rare blood disease. But the European hotbed of temptation yielded sport no vampire could resist—criminologist Sophie St. Clair. And with only days to live, Kellen sought sweet release from her to escape a savage past.

The lycan beauty wasn’t one to stray from her pact. But an investigation into a downtown bombing now tied the two together. And it wasn’t long before Kellen’s smoldering eyes and Sophie’s fierce desire for this vampire put her loyalties to the test… buy here.

No magic for two weeks? What’s a fairy to do? Go to Vegas, of course!

Princess Talista of the fairy clan Serendipity has been sent, like all young fairies, to a remote forest in humanspace for mandatory survival training. But headstrong Tali’s got different ideas about where to spend two weeks without magic. What better place than Las Vegas to learn to live like humans, a true test of survival?

Tali might not blend, but she’d like to be shaken and stirred with stage magician Jake Story. Their attraction is instant and electric…and Tali senses there’s more to Jake’s show than flashy tricks.

Jake always knew he was different, even before he developed an unusual flair for hypnotism. He has no trouble mesmerizing the luscious Tali during act three, but the lights that appear around them when they kiss weren’t part of the program.

When the authorities from Tali’s homeland track the missing princess to Vegas, Jake and Tali end up on the run. In between magic experiments, evil gnomes and astonishing sex, Tali learns what it really means to be human—by falling in lust, followed closely by love.

But Tali’s not human. And Jake doesn’t believe in fairies. The truth will either bind them together—or tear the fairy realm apart. Order here.

Finding herself undercover as a serving wench at a Renaissance Faire, FBI Agent and mild psychic Leda Williams isn’t planning to partake in any role-playing games. She’s there to find a mace-wielding serial killer, which isn’t easy with everyone around her pretending to be in character. Not only does the entire village fit the Medieval-obsessed profile, but she’s already been propositioned by a few of the knights. Clearly, sexual harassment wasn’t around in the Middle Ages. But, when she sees the delectably gorgeous, magically seductive tournament champion, Sir Calum, Leda realizes there might be one knight she wouldn’t mind getting into character for.

Claire despises her ability to see into the future, but when her dreams include a heated encounter with a gorgeous, dominant, mysterious lover — and a spine-chilling foretelling of danger to her own life — she knows she has to make a choice between the safety of denial and the seductive passion that that seems to go hand-in-hand with her own death. Having had a taste of the wild hunger that flares between them, it’s not much of a choice at all.

He’s not psychic, but Des knows things Claire’s power can’t reveal. He knows about a psychopathic madman who’s set his sights on her, and the fact that her brainy, rational exterior hides a deeply sensual, uninhibited woman. Des also knows something else — that he will claim Claire as his.

If he can keep her alive, that is.

Available April 29th here.

Sometimes you have to go more than halfway to meet in the middle.

Caitlin Moore has every reason to celebrate. She’s through with law-school finals, and out for some post-semester fun when she runs smack dab into Eamon Blake, the Irishman with whom she had a summer fling years ago. Time hasn’t dimmed their lingering friendship—or their sexual chemistry.

Eamon isn’t looking for love when he bumps into Cat while he’s in Seattle on a job. Yet over the next year, he finds himself involved in a rekindled long-distance romance that moves from casual to a lot more.

That’s the rub. Cat is determined not to repeat her past mistakes with men and give up the dream job for which she’s worked so hard. Independence is something she’s spent years achieving. Eamon can start over so much easier than she can—why shouldn’t he make the sacrifice this time?

But Eamon doesn’t much relish leaving the life he’s been building in Los Angeles—and he really doesn’t like ultimatums. At an impasse, goodbye seems the only direction to go. Ending it is the right thing to do…or the biggest mistake they ever made.

So about two months ago I decided to give up white bread. Not just for me, but for my kid too. So I grabbed the loaf of white bread I had and put it in the trunk of my car. Because ‘some day’ we’d get around to visiting the park to go feed the ducks.

Well…I kind of forgot about the bread and haven’t been to that park in awhile. I opened the trunk of my car the other day and found the bread. And I was hoping for mold, because that’s supposed to give the ducks some penicillin… but you know what? Two months and that loaf is still whiter than white.  I mean….yikes, I was eating that?

I’m at Beth Kery’s blog today, being interviewed with a chance for those who comment to win books! And I’m also at Naughty and Spice talking about my weekend!

Delle Jacobs is at Naughty and Spice giving away a book. She’s dispelling a myth!

Well, I’m still recovering from the big old Amazon mess. I am proud to say I was one of the people on Twitter who jumped headfirst into #amazonfail I was tweeting all day, and blogging, and myspaceing, and facebooking. It’s a different world. The public’s voice is getting heard more than ever now. Not to mention Smart Bitches Brilliant plan with the Amazon Rank.

I’m happy to say my book Take Me (over in the sidebar there!) is again searchable on Amazon’s front page and has had its ranking restored. But I’m not sure everyone’s has been yet, though. So we’ll keep on keeping on until the dust has settled. Which, you know, a public apology instead of statements passed on in blogs, would have been a little more professional and sincere.us48_cri0007_m-fbsafeco-field-home-of-the-seattle-mariners-baseball-team-seattle-washington-usa-posters

Anyway, onto lighter topics. Today’s the Seattle Mariner’s first game at home!! Woo whoo! And we’ve got out home boy Griffey back. I grew up with ‘the kid’. So I’m so excited. No like I’m going to the game, but my brother and sis-in-law are. So I’ll end this post with a big old… GO MARINERS!!!
