I broke the law the other day. For like thirty seconds. I got in my car, backed out of my driveway, and got on my cell phone. Oh, how bad I am! As of July 1st it’s illegal to talk on the cell phone (unless you can do it hands free) and drive! So I quickly hung up and debated investing in a blue tooth. This is how Pollyanna I am. I’m so straight and narrow, I actually felt guilty for having not remembered to ‘hang up and drive’.
And I’m such a sucker. Why? I decided to do a last minute activity with the kid. I bought tickets to the Thomas the Train day. Yes, I paid way too much to drive up into the mountains and get on a train with a big Thomas on the front. But my kid will love me forever because of it. I have an extra ticket, I just need to figure out who to bring along. Because I can’t go through this alone! LOL.
Oh heeeey! I have news :) Remember how I sold my book The Captured Rose to Kensington Aprhodisia? Well, it now has a new title. And the new title is….(Drum roll)…Take Me. Honestly, I’m thrilled. It’s so appropriate for this story line. It’s a hot book and the hero abducts the heroine. So it works. Works very, very well. And I’ve got a great idea for book two that’s going to Aphrodisia.
I’m gearing up to head out of town for the 4th, so you all have a great one if I don’t talk to you before then!

Psst - driving with a cell phone is a secondary violation. In Washington you can’t be pulled over just for being on the phone.
But yes, you should still get an accessory for your phone. :)
