Over at Naughty and Spice! Shelley Munro is guest blogging (Friday) and she’s got a fun topic
Dolly Parton said the quote above in my subject line, and you know, I kind of like it. It spoke to me. This pic here is actually from Snoqualmie Falls (no I didn’t take it!), and where I recently decided to write a scene that will show up in my next Seattle Steam book. (providing my editor buys it!
)
On that note, the tweaking/rewriting of my book is going well. And you know, it’s funny because I can see already how this is becoming a better story. How much the motivation is changing in my hero and heroine. I’m really enjoying this rewrite (does that make me crazy? Mayhap).
Okay, so where is our spring? It still feels like winter. It’s cold. Rainy. Dark. Do you realize they’re saying we may get snow this weekend? SNOW! That’s insanity I tell you. It’s almost May. It’s like tulip season.
And on the health front. I’m a bit up and down. Yesterday I did one hour on the elliptical at the gym! That’s up from my 45, which was up from my 30, which was up from my 20 (you see the pattern here?) But then today I emotionally ate, and emotionally grocery shopped (really, throwing away a frozen pizza would just waste money. AND it’s California kitchen Garlic Chicken). But I’ll snap out of it. I tend to have a bad day every now and then and then get back on the wagon.
