I’m alive! The week after last week has arrived and I’m still kicking. I had Tempting Adam release from Samhain (and hit #10 on the best seller list on Sunday!). I gave my workshop in Passionate Ink about MySpace, and I really think it went quite well!
Friday the conference chair, assistant conf. chair and I all went to the hotel the Emerald City Writers Conference is going to be held at, and tested all the food we’ll be serving. Like they gave us the full plate of each! Needless to say I brought home a doggy bag. And let me tell you…yummy! The food is excellent!
The week started out a little iffy, with a couple pieces of not so great news. One is still just totally over my head. The other, fortunately I can do something about. I’m currently revising parts of my latest submission to Samhain (my hero totally missed the mark! Went for ultra alpha, got creepy stalker. LOL). So I’m having to put the third novella on hold. But I’m still being productive with my writing and keeping the goals with Lacy. Though mine have shifted to focus on a different project.
So I’m a jealous bee. Half my friends are off having a ball at the RT conference, having fun and spending time together. Oh how I wish I was there with ya! But I’ll see them in July. San Fran, baby, San Fran. It’s almost 3 months away. Not that far at all!

Hi Shelli – thought I’d pop by to say hello. Congratulations on your new release BTW. I don’t have my copy yet but will remedy that soon since I enjoyed the first one. Sorry to hear you’ve had bad news. That’s no good – onward and upward. That’s the only way to go.
LOL – I hate it every year when the RT conference comes around but San Fran isn’t that far away. It’s keeping me sane. ;)

I just wanted to tell you that I read Tempting Adam last Saturday. As soon as I opened it, I couldn’t stop reading. I loved it! Killer dialogue.
Cannot wait for SF & RWA…hope to see you there (and perhaps have the opportunity to hang out with you and my other internet friends.)
