What I’m listening to: Cornflake Girl, Tori Amos
So I took the day off and went away sans computer. Yes, it was just a day, but it was rather nice. I did some walking out in nature, gave my eyes a rest from the glare of the computer, read, and even took a nap! It was a lot of fun.
The life front is going well. I lost 3lbs from being sick on my butt last week! I’m working out a lot (upping my cardio to 15 min more each day!) and really cutting back on the carbs/sugar. I tried on this fabulous Goonies shirt that my friend Jammie gave me (in fact I’m wearing it now!) and it’s not quite as tight. Granted, it stills give me an unaboob and hugs my belly, but I love the shirt! But I’m getting closer!
The writing is going fabulous, with my 1k a day (which I sometimes surpass) helped me put out almost 10k in four days! And I notice when I write consistently, I hit my groove and the story flows better. It’s like reading a book, I’m more eager to keep reading if I keep going. When I write, I’m essentially reading a random story, and I want to know where it’s going (because I’m a pantser on novellas!)
But I’m excited for so many reasons! This weekend I’m guest blogging at Killer Fiction! And I have a chapter meeting Saturday. Tuesday my book Tempting Adam comes out! And then later next week I’m giving a workshop in the Passionate Ink chapter about how an author can use My Space!
So I’ll be a busy bee, but I’ll be around! Hope everyone is doing fabulous
