All right, so the past week or so have been a bit…hmm, chaotic? Right. Yes. Quite a bit so. But like my title says, good things are happening!

First, before I say what things, I should announce the winner of my blog contest yesterday. Thanks to all who came by and left comments about my new site–and my object of lust Clive Owen. So I had a third party pick a number between 1-32 (the amount of comments) and they picked 15. So Kris Eton please email what book you’d like and in what format!

Also, before I forget, you should all come visit Naughty and Spice where we have Silhouette Desire author Jen Lewis guest blogging about sex in interesting places!

Okay, onto the good news. And I put in a fun pic to break up the text and give your eyes a rest.

So the Seattle chapter is just coming off a great, I do mean GREAT, ECWC (conference) in 2007. The talk was that there would not be a three day conference in 2008 for various reasons–the main one being that we’d be competing with people who’d rather save their money for Nationals since it’s in San Francisco.

When we announced that the ECWC would be scaled back to a one day event, there was a big outcry. Big. So, after much discussion, recruiting of volunteers, and financial considerations….I’m happy to say it looks like we’re going to keep it a three day event. So everybody, keep us in mind for the weekend of October 10-12th, 2008, because it’s going to be great again! Details are coming soon!

Hmm, I know there were more good things I wanted to share…I do. But I’m kind of drawing a blank. Or maybe I’m just so tired because it’s almost midnight! Oh wait, I remember. Here they are in rapid fire…
