Fortune Cookie Thursday will resume next week since I did not have lunch with grams yesterday :) Actually all week has been a bit sans theme, but we’ll be back on track in the New Year!

Sooo I have this editor, Laurie M. Rauch, and she goes by grammargeek, right? Well, now I’m giving her the alter ego of technogeek. Because Laurie, who must have seen my mournful status on Yahoo, or MySpace, or just read my blog, approached me with the offer to walk me through my MP3 player. I’m thrilled to say that as of last night I now have 25 songs on there!!! Yaaaaay! Yaaaay! Thanks, Laurie! You’re the best.

I took the kid to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. It’s so funny, because those guys were huge in my childhood. To see the movie brought it all back. Though I kept waiting for the girl chipmunks to show up. Sigh. They never did. But it was a cute movie. The kid did considerably better at her third movie… if you don’t count the five bathroom breaks.

I’m starting to get back into the work mode again, post holiday and all. I think one more day and I’ll be good to go! It’s been nice to spend some time away from my computer…although it’s kind of like having a missing limb. I keep looking for it like it’s still attached to me. Go figure.

Have a great Thursday!

Santa brought that for our 11 year old, if you still need help – I’m sure she’d be willing. :)

I might see the Chipmunks on DVD, but I’d have to be able to turn it off. Sad the gals are not in the film, but that’s what the 2nd one will be for – right?

Oh, boy.. I took December off from writing because work has been SO much this month and I’ve been reading oodles. I look forward to digging into my NaNo output to see if anything there is usable.

    Happy Happy Shelli!

Seriously, I’m dying to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. I’m torn between seeing it in the theaters or waiting to rent it. Cause deep down, I know it’s not going to be worth the $20+ we’ll spend on a night out at the movies. Right?

I bought both my boys MP3 players for Christmas and told them they were on their own on how to work them. lol

I have a friend who sent me a similar snowman graphic as you have at the top of your page. Only in mine, a girl snowman walks by and the boy snowman grows such an enormous hard-on he falls face first in the snow. :)

    Just thought I’d share. lol

Hey Shelli, I have the same MP3 player in white! :D Hubby got it for me for our anniversary! So if you still need a hand, let me know. It’s become a bit of an obsession. I have too many songs on mine, all organized by in alphabetical order by name of album and artist. Ha ha. OCD, maybe?

Oh thanks, Isabelle! That’s too cool and I may take you up on that offer :)
