So can I just say how excited I am? Remember my Heiress book? Well, I decided to have a critique done on it from someone who writes light stuff too. I have my normal group I send to, but they’re good with my spicier books. So I wanted to branch out and I found her. Now I’m not gonna say who, in case she doesn’t want to be outed, but I pretty much fall to the ground screaming I’m not worthy when I read her stuff.
Well, she sent me back my critique and I almost cried. But, they were GOOD tears! She was so supportive, had great advice on a few points in the book I’d been wondering about, and was full of compliments. One of my favorite’s being: “Probably one of the funniest things I’ve read in months. I really, really liked it.”
So now, with some feedback on that book, I’m feeling pretty good about it. Well, okay, great, since I felt good about it before! Anyway, I just had to share that with you since I really love this book and hope it goes far.
On another, or should I say a mother note, can someone tell me if four is the new two? Because my daughter is getting into SO much mischievous lately. OMG. Like her new favorite phrase is, “Mommy, don’t go look at what I’m doing.” I just hear those words and break into a run, because she’ll grab my leg and try to stop me. I always find like puddles of soap in the bathroom from when she’s bathing her toys with q-tips and apple foam soap, or there’ll be glitter on the walls of her playroom. *Groan* What’s going on???

That’s wonderful, Shelli. I’m so happy for you. I hope your book goes far as well.
And about your daughter, LOL, she sounds really cheeky.
Sounds about right to me, too. My daughter was cheeky and found mischief everywhere when she was 4. Heck, she’s 7 and still naughty! :/
Sorry, I’m not much help. Let me just say that I’m super glad I only have one child. I would go bonkers with anymore, honestly.
Have a great weekend.
