So like I said earlier, I have plans this weekend. I have somewhat of a social life! Tonight (Friday) night was such a blast. My best friend, her hubby and I went to the Mariners game! We showed up early enough to get a free Raul Ibanez bobblehead (which I’m such a nice sister I’ll give it to my oldest brother who collects such things.)
Oh my lanta it has been too long since I went to a game! It was so exciting! At one point a foul ball landed right between my friend and her hubby (then bounced to the boy behind us) I was trying to take cell pics and totally blew my chance to grab it. BAD ME! And apparently, I have the ability to curse the game. The Mariners were up 5 to nothing, and I said ‘Man, we’d really have to drop the ball to lose this one.’ I kid you not, right after I said that (And the friend’s hubby warned me I’d just cursed them) we walked three batters, and then they hit a home run making it a grand slam. The score was then 5 to 4 and our lead was slim. Fortunately we still won!
Awesome game! I took a really bad cell phone video (my first attempt at a video) of Ichiro getting a triple off a bunt! It’s only 17 seconds, and not very good, but check it out to experience the excitement through my eyes!
