Today’s fortune cookie fortune from lunch with gramms:

Success will be yours at home and in business in the next month.

I can handle that. Success in business would hopefully mean some fabulous news on my sci fi The Captured Rose. And at home…hmm. More writing time when Emma starts going to pre-school? YEAH!

I’m so excited. She’s fully potty trained, no accidents, and most mornings wakes up dry!

So I spent the weekend at my family’s cabin. All the family was up there, including my three brothers. Why the big gathering when the cabin is about the size of an apartment? It’s fishing season. And every time one of the men catch a salmon, they walk right up to window gripping the bloody fish by the gills and display it with pride. I swear, I almost expect them to say ‘Ug! Woman start fire now!’ or something. It’s a guy thing. Emma loves it. Starts dancing around screaming, “Uncle Mark caught two salmon!!!”
Unfortunately, or is it fortunately? I don’t eat salmon. Not since I was eight and one of my brother’s told me there were worms in it. I’m old enough now to no better, and that he was just trying to get a bigger helping, but I still have issues sometimes eating something that used to be alive.
I have big fun plans this weekend, which I’ll blog about on Saturday (seriously, hold me to that!)

Trust and Dare is still doing great (it hit #5 best seller status for about 12 hours, lol, before shooting back to #6!) so thank you majorly to all who’ve bought it! I hope you like it :)

Have a great rest of the week!
