First off, Jamie Alden is over at Naughty and Spice asking the fun little question: Are you a good bitch? Or a bad bitch. (All about writing a bitch or an asshole for a heroine/hero!) Come check it out and comment!

Now onto mwa. So over the weekend I went out with ‘the group’ again. Since we hang out at least once a month, I’ve decided to give them a label. For future reference, ‘the group’ is: my best friend, her hubby, and one or two of his friends. So this weekened we all went and saw The Simpsons, and I have to say that I loved it!!

Though I rarely watch the show anymore, it made me nostalgic for the days when I had. And this movie was different than the show. Refreshing. Honestly, I think they pushed the envelope. So I’m not sure you’d want to bring the little ones. But that’s just me in mommy mode speaking. The next activity planned with ‘the group’ is a Mariners game. I’m so excited! (If you can’t tell, this is Shelli is trying to have a social life).

On a fun note, the Naughty and Spice girls have opened a yahoo group! Come join! We’re always open for chat and fun and complete randomness. We’ll also have the occasional exclusive excerpts and contests! To join send an email to naughtyspiceauthors-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.

So is anyone else entering that Brava contest? I am. I have my entry ready, but I keep staring at it going….hmmm. Hmmmm. Hmmm. You know, over analyzing ever single word. Staring at the paragraphs until my eyes blur. I know I just need to sub it. But I think I’ll wait another week or so. Just in case….well, just in case. You see? This is what I do!

I’m taking the kid to her very first movie this weekend. That rat one, Ratlinguine or something :) What is everyone else up to? Anything fun?

Okay I’m off!!

Sounds like a fun night out with the group!

I have a workshop for my RWA chapter on Saturday and there’s a book signing after. On Sunday I’ll be spending about 6 hours getting my hair done.

Oh! I think you’ll like Ratatouille. Our kids all loved it (3, 9 and 12) and me and the hubs enjoyed it too. I took Roo to a movie this weekend too, “Care Bears: Oopsie Does It” or something like that. It sucked ASS, hug hairy dirty ass…but he loves Care Bears so….he was entertained and we were out of the heat.

    Hugs!

Hope you have fun at the movies. I think I’d like to see Ratatouille. I’ve heard great things about this movie.
