Well I’m home! Sorry it took me awhile to post, but I’m still recovering. What a trip! It was fun, it was educational, it was political (let’s not even go there ;), but overall it was just fabulous!

I just have to say before I get to the post part, The Pirate’s Booty has gone from #3 on Fictionwise erotic to #2 in just a couple days!!! Woot! *Doing a little dance*

Back to conference wrap up.

Well, I spent a good amount of time with the Romance Divas, though sadly I must confess that I did not go to transvestite karaoke with them. I stayed in the bar and networked with authors. Basically, any of the wild crazy things the Divas did I didn’t do. Yes, I was a bit more boring this trip, but my keyword all week was network! And everyone knows the place to be is the hotel bar. I had a couple of semi wild moments, but not too bad.

I met a ton of people for the first time, though it seemed like I already knew them (many I know from writing communities and the blogosphere). I got up the courage to introduce myself to agents and editors. It was just a great, successful time!

Oh, and I’m doing the Seventy Days of Sweat (see side bar image of sexy Sven). I’m finishing a contemporary romance, and writing a novella to enter into the Brava contest. Fun, fun!

You know, let’s just put up a slide show of Dallas!
