K, some good news… the insurance came through for me, so I don’t need to go on insulin! They’re covering the pill. *Doing the Running Man* (Did I just date myself?) Woo whoo! Though I have, like Robin, done insulin during pregnancy, I’m in no hurry to go back, but will if I ever need to.
Hey, did you hear that new statistic that’s out? For the first time in American history, more women do not have a spouse than those who do. The percentage is 49% married to 51% single, divorced, widowed, etc.. At first I was like, wow so cool. I’m not alone. Then I was like…wow, maybe not so cool. So much competition. But I think I’m back to the first reaction as I’m not really looking right now. *Grin*
So I am on fire with this book. This sci-fi, (yes, I think it’s sci fi because there’s all kinds of planets and life on them) is pouring out of me like mad. I just hit 7,500k and I started this puppy on Sunday. Which is good, because I’m doing the book in a month thing for a 25k book, which is right around what I’m aiming for. So I’ve been hitting my daily goals while getting through two days of a kid with major barfing, fever, and constipation. Good times, people, good times. And I’ve got the stained comforter to prove it.
So I’m doing great exercising, though I was eating far better when I was a vegetarian. Well… not too much better actually. I’m just thinking meat weighs more, so I’m a bit freaked to step on the scale.
Well, all right. Should go to bed soon because I have another arse crack of dawn workout. I’ll blog hop tomorrow!

Glad you got some good news. Love the pic by the way. Hope Emma feels better soon!
Your picts kill me. Happy for your insurance coming through!
And muscle weighs more, so if you’ve been working out, you may go UP instead of down at first. But more muscle burns more fat, so it’s a good thing!
7.5k in less than a week? Shite. You rock. I’m jealous.
Way to go on the book and the workouts Shelli! I’d totally be interested in reading it. I hope the wee one gets better soon!
By the way, I finished my first manuscript on Monday. It’s a single title, 90k word sci-fi romance. Woo hoo!
By the way, I’m really drooling over the cover of the Sea King book. That man is so hot!
Good for you!
Shelli, that’s so great about the insurance!
And I still find it very cool that we’re both writing Sci-Fi tales for the BIAM! :)
Ok, first I have to comment on the pic — too funny! I love it! :)
I’m glad the insurance came through and I hope your daughter gets to feeling better soon!
Congrats on the writing!!!
Cole
Love the pic!!!
I’m glad you got good news about your insurance!!
Who cares about the rest of him? LOL. Just kidding.
Hey! Hang in there chica. You’re doing great. GREAT word count and AWESOME to hear you won’t have to do shots.
Love ya honey.
Shots suck, glad you get to pop pills.
Excellent word count progress. I hate you.
And I havent exercised since last week, so I hate you even more now.
;)
Seriously – those stats you mentioned – I just read that here the divorce rate is more than 60%. How sad is that!
Ugh, finally got blogger to work for me.
I had this wonderful post set up but blogger ate it :(
Meat isn’t too bad. You’ll actually lose it faster with a balance between carbs, protien and fat. Interesting huh. I even had the % as well.
I’m so glad you can take pills, Shelli! Yay! And yay on the sci-fi book!
As for the picture — wouldn’t you really think twice about marrying a guy with that last name? (Bet he took a lot of teasing.) But think of the fun you could have naming your children — Mary, Carrie, Barrie, Tugg… :D
Muscle weighs more than fat. It’s common to gain a little bit of weight when you start a big exercise routine.
I’m so glad you like my new site! :) I LOVE it!!!!! And I’m glad you liked Susan’s interview. :)
