So, gag, I’m sorry I made you stare at the family history post for a few days. Wow, is it only Saturday? Is anyone getting that Sunday or Monday vibe? I’m so off on my days right now. Holidays do that to you. Man, it’s been awhile since I actually blogged. Did everyone have a good Thanksgiving?

Mine was pretty good. I had lots of family, and my friend and her hubby over too. I have to admit that one of the highlights was during the Dallas football game. All the men in my house were in complete horror of the halftime show. They couldn’t believe that some country singing American Idol (Carrie Underwood) was singing, and there was a line of dancing cowboys, and half naked men spinning on scarves and gazing into each others eyes. I won’t tell you all the phrases they were hurling at the television. But it did go something along the lines of, “What the f*ck is this?”

Okay, so now, in front of you all…I formally renounce my tradition of Day after Thanksgiving insanity shopping. I will no longer brave the malls, Target or drug stores at the ass crack of dawn. For it is indeed insanity, and absolutely not worth the few bucks you save. Besides, quite a few of the stores offer the deals online now! Although if you try to buy one of the featured items on Amazon at the ‘given time’ the site is frozen. So done with them too.

Oh! And I got another review for Tourist Attraction today (my first book!) It was a GREAT one.

“This is a short story done right! First-time-published Shelli Stevens will definitely have follow-up books! Be sure to look for her name after you read Tourist Attraction. The passion was hot and the love scenes were definitely erotic; however, the explicit sex did not undermine the beauty of this love story… I wholeheartedly recommend this story highly!” 5 hearts, Brenda Talley, The Romance Studio

All right, I think this has become an official blog post. I’ll post more when I have more to say :)
