Woo whoo! It’s Emma’s birthday! My little munchkin turned 3 today. Lot’s of pizza, presents and Thomas the Train cake ensued. It was a blast and Emma had a great time. She fell asleep at 5:30. LOL. I’m telling you, we have a lifetime supply of tea sets, trains, my little ponies, and everything Little Mermaid related. And Emma is in heaven! Here I am holding her still for two second for a photo opp. Doesn’t she just look like she’s ready to jump off my lap?
Okay, so last night I did manage to get about 1k done in my Nano book, not as much as I’d hoped, but I broke the 20k mark. And now that the week long partying has ended, I think I should be able to get back on track. Wish me luck. Because after I finish this NaNo project I definitely plan on revising Grounds for Arousal and sending it to Sha Shana. And I may send her my other book that’s hanging around that I haven’t really sent out yet.
So we’re having some ‘bad’ weather here. Only I don’t think it’s bad, I love it. We’re having some really heavy rain that’s causing a lot of flooding, and wind storms. If I lived near a river where it could hurt my property, or even become dangerous, I’d probably not like it so much. But where I am there’s no danger of flooding. So I love to leave my window open a crack (helps with the hot flashes too;) and listen to the wind and rain while I type, then when I go to bed as well. Maybe that makes me nutty, but then I never claimed not to be.
Okay, so i’m off to write now! I must, I must, I must increase my NaNo. Come on, you didn’t think I was going to say bust did you? I’m appalled!
